Poster Idea Research: The Man From Planet X

So I want to look at old horror film posters from the 1950s and take them and make then modern and fit into each genre I have researched; comedy/ horror/ family/ romance and action.

The first poster I want to explore is "The Man From Planet X" a 1951 Science-fiction film, about a spaceship that lands on the Scottish moors, bringing an alien to the planet. With more and more people go missing, action must be taken by the police.

I chose this because I thought this would be a good challenge, I like the setting and the characters and feel I could (hopefully) put these in different genres. I also wanted to look at other versions of this poster that was already out there.

All these posters will help me design  new posters myself for the brief.
